1 c. butter, softened
1 c. crunchy or smooth peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugar together. Beat in
eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Stir into batter. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Flatten each ball
with a fork dipped in sugar, making a criss cross pattern. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes until edges begin to brown.
